RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025

Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with a scribe)
Total Questions: 100 (Objective-type, Multiple-Choice Questions)
Marks: 100 (1 mark per correct answer)
Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer

Languages: The question paper is available in 15 languages, including Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Qualifying Marks:
UR/EWS: 40%
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST: 30%
PwBD: Relaxed by 2% in case of a shortage of candidates.

Selection Process:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature, with tasks like:

Male: Lift and carry 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes; run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds.
Female: Lift and carry 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes; run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds.

Document Verification (DV): Candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer (if applicable) and identical signatures in English or Hindi.
Medical Examination: To ensure fitness for railway duties.

RRB Group D Exam Date 2025

The RRB Group D 2025 CBT is scheduled to be conducted from July 26 to September 27, 2025, as per the official announcement by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs).
City Intimation Slip: Expected to be released from July 16, 2025 onwards.
Admit Card: Expected to be released from July 22, 2025 onwards.
Application Status: The status of applications (accepted or rejected) will be released soon, prior to the exam, and candidates can check it on the official RRB websites using their credentials.
